2018-2019 Meeting Schedule

September 11, 2018Shopping for Time.  We read ads, clip coupons, and look for bargains when we are shopping.  However, we don’t often exhibit the same care when spending the valuable and limited commodity of our time.  At this meeting, we will look at strategies for carefully evaluating our time spending options and choosing wisely between them.

October 9, 2018Fellowship.  Do you need some encouragement?  Do you have questions or concerns?  Fellowship meetings are times for us to discuss problems, rejoice in successes, and ask questions of each other.

November 13, 2018Raising Arrows, not Aprons (Part 1).  In the midst of getting through another day, week, or year of homeschooling, we can lose sight of the goal – sending our children, well-equipped, out into the world.  This two-part session will look at spiritual, social, relational, intrapersonal, and academic essentials that we should develop in our children before then.

January 8, 2019Raising Arrows, not Aprons (Part 2)

February 12, 2019Fellowship

March 12, 2019Modelling the Christian Walk.  The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Do we exhibit it?  Do we live out our Christianity in a way that is honest and appealing to our children?  Although we are not perfect, let’s be encouraged to grow in Christlikeness in our interactions with those most precious to us so that they desire godliness as well.

April 9, 2019 – Fellowship

May 14, 2019End of Year Evaluation.  Soon we will be undertaking assessments for our children, but tonight we will take some time to evaluate ourselves.  How have we grown in godliness this year?  What are we still struggling with?  What should our focus be over the summer?  Let’s not grow weary in doing good, but encourage one another to press on toward a harvest of righteousness.
